In addition, vertical awning blinds offer a choice of fabrics with varying degrees of transparency – from 0% (complete blackout) to 10% (gentle light filtering). This allows you to adjust the level of shading to your individual preferences and the function of the room. Choosing a fabric with a 4% transparency for your terrace, for example, will provide you with pleasant partial shade, protecting you from excessive sun while still allowing you to enjoy the garden view.

The VMU Z-Wave Solar and VMU Electro 230 are flush-mounted awning blinds which, when rolled up, are hidden in the façade, making them ideal for modern, minimalist buildings where the cleanliness of the façade is important. On the other hand, the VML Z-Wave Solar and VML WiFi Tuya are distinguished by the fabric being guided on steel cables, without side guide rails, resulting in the entire structure extremely light and almost invisible, which makes them a great choice for balcony or terrace glazing.

The cassettes are available in various shapes: oval, rectangular and round, and the colours can be matched to the window frames, façade or roof by choosing from a wide range of RAL colours. Electro 230 models, such as the VMZ Electro 230 or VML Electro 230, allow for simple and trouble-free control using a wall-mounted switch – an ideal solution for those who value simplicity and durability of a wired system.

For more demanding users, the Z-Wave and WiFi Tuya versions are available. Awning blinds such as the VMZ WiFi Tuya, VML Z-Wave, VMB Z-Wave Solar or VMU Z-Wave Solar can be operated from a smartphone using the Tuya Smart app. Solar models, such as the VMZ Z-Wave Solar, offer complete energy independence – a built-in solar panel charges the battery, eliminating the need for electrical wiring. This is an excellent solution for terraces, balconies and hard-to-reach places where traditional power supply would be cumbersome or costly.
