Once installed, almost all of its components, including the cassette and guide rails, are partially concealed behind the façade, allowing for a uniform and clean line of the façade. When the awning blind is rolled up, it remains almost invisible. Additionally, it is possible to match the colour of the guide rails to the shade of the window frames, ensuring a harmonious overall appearance.
Guide rails
The VMU Electro 230 flush-mounted awning blind guide rails perfectly complement the modern, minimalist character of the building's façade. Carefully designed to blend discreetly into the façade, they do not disturb the architectural harmony and enhance the overall aesthetic appearance. The possibility of matching their colour to the window frames makes the whole look consistent and elegant. Once the fabric is folded, the guide rails remain virtually invisible, and their design allows for quiet and smooth operation of the awning blind. They are available in RAL 7022, RAL 8003, RAL 9005 and RAL 9010 as standard, but there is also the option of choosing any colour from the RAL palette, allowing for full customisation.

Fabric placed outside the window
In all FAKRO vertical roll-up awning models, the fabric is mounted on the outside of the glazing, which allows it to block sunlight before it reaches the glazing, eliminating the hot greenhouse effect. As a result, roll-up awnings effectively reduce interior heating by up to 10°C, ensuring thermal comfort without the need for air conditioning.
UV radiation reduction and interior protection
FAKRO vertical roll-up awnings block up to 90% of UV radiation, protecting furniture, floors and decorative elements from fading and degradation. In addition, the fabric is available in various transparency degrees, allowing for comfortable interior lighting without annoying glare.
Privacy and insect screen function
When rolled down, the vertical roll-up awning provides privacy during the day, limiting visibility from the outside while maintaining contact with the surroundings. Many models also function as a mosquito screen, allowing for ventilation without worrying about insects.
