Since 2000, we have earned the trust of contractors, architects and retailers from over a dozen European countries. Every year, we develop the skills of over 2,000 specialists by organising more than 140 classroom-based and on-site training courses.

For over 25 years, we have been helping specialists develop the knowledge and skills that translate into the quality, durability and safety of joinery installation. Since 2000, we have been organising specialist training courses during which we impart practical knowledge based on real-world experience from building sites and the latest technical solutions.

Our Training Centre is a meeting place for professionals from across Europe – roofers, joinery fitters, automation engineers, architects, designers and sales staff. We create a space where theory meets practice, and where the expertise of our specialists translates into a higher level of competence for participants.

Every year, we share practical knowledge with contractors in Poland and abroad. We run training courses both at the FAKRO Training Centre and directly in the field and on building sites, tailoring the content to the participants’ actual needs.

Over 40 training courses at the FAKRO Training Centre

Every year, over 800 contractors from more than a dozen European countries take part in specialist training courses organised at FAKRO’s headquarters.

Nearly 100 on-site training sessions

Training sessions held on-site and directly on building sites attract around 1,200 participants annually. They take place in Poland and, amongst others, in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

We train installers

Our training courses for installers focus on practical skills, which subsequently lead to more efficient and reliable installation of FAKRO products. Fitters learn the principles of working with roof windows, vertical joinery, window accessories, automatic systems, loft ladders and garage doors, and also learn how to deal with unusual situations encountered on site.

Training courses tailored to different professional needs

We develop separate programmes for architects, designers and sales staff, as each of these groups requires a different scope of knowledge. The training topics are tailored to their day-to-day tasks and the decisions they make when designing, selecting and selling products.

Architects

They learn about the possible applications of FAKRO products, current design trends and solutions that make it easier to create functional and comfortable spaces.

Designers

They acquire the technical knowledge required to select the right products and incorporate their specifications into the design documentation.

Sales staff

They develop their product and technical expertise in order to better identify customers’ needs and help them choose the right solutions.

What forms of support does the FAKRO Training Centre offer?

In addition to technical and product training, we provide a range of programmes that support professional development: the Professionals’ Club and the FAKRO CONNECT app for installers and roofers, as well as the FAKRO Academy for sales representatives and distributors. It is comprehensive support — knowledge, practical skills and tangible benefits.

Do I need to be a roofer to benefit from the Training Centre’s offer?

No! Our programmes and training sessions are designed for many different groups: loft-ladder installers, automation specialists, sales representatives, designers, vocational school students, university students and business owners. Anyone who works with FAKRO or wants to develop their competencies will find something for themselves here.

How can I start using programmes such as the Professionals’ Club or the Academy?

Simply express your interest by completing the form available on the dedicated programme page. Afterwards, a Technical and Sales Advisor will contact you. Once your company has been successfully verified, you will join the group of members of the Professionals’ Club or FAKRO Academy.

Do the programmes offer any additional benefits?

Yes — participants of the loyalty programmes receive points that can be exchanged for rewards, certificates, marketing support, as well as access to premium materials and dedicated training sessions. We focus on practical, measurable benefits — not just knowledge.

Does FAKRO also support vocational education in schools?

Yes, we actively cooperate with vocational and technical schools across Poland. We organise workshops, lend equipment and provide educational materials. We also support initiatives that develop knowledge and skills among future professionals, such as the “Golden Trowel” Construction Tournament. In addition, we are the organiser of the Construction Education Congress.
