Cooperation with schools

Cooperation with schools

FAKRO actively supports vocational and technical schools by preparing students for real-world work with our products. We collaborate with classes specialising in roofing, construction, window joinery and automation, offering patronage, educational materials, branded items and invitations to industry events. We organise free practical workshops using professional tools and FAKRO products. Thanks to this, students gain hands-on installation skills, while teachers receive certificates and substantive support.

We tailor the training to your school

Only the location and engagement are needed — we take care of everything else.

Participation in the workshops is free of charge
We provide multimedia equipment
We use our own tools and products during the training

Theoretical training

Theoretical classes are an excellent way to deliver product knowledge, share inspiration and present the capabilities of available solutions. We conduct them in the form of lectures or presentations tailored to larger groups — entire classes or multiple groups combined. All that is required is a suitable room, such as a vocational workshop or an auditorium, where students can comfortably participate. FAKRO provides all necessary educational materials, presentations and the instructor. All you need is the space — we take care of the rest.

Practical training

During practical classes, students have the opportunity to work hands-on with FAKRO products and professional tools, completing installation tasks under the supervision of a specialist. To ensure that each participant can actively engage in the exercises and gain real skills, we recommend groups of around a dozen students. This allows time for questions, consultations and an individual approach. FAKRO provides the equipment, frames and all components needed for the training — the school only needs to offer the space and engagement.

What does your school need to prepare?

Only the space and engagement — we take care of the rest.

Room for theoretical and practical classes

The school should provide a space where both theoretical and practical sessions can be conducted. This may be a technical workshop, vocational classroom or any other room adapted for group exercises.

Organising a student group

To run the training, the school should designate a group of students interested in the subject of building joinery installation. The theoretical part can be delivered to a larger audience, while practical training is carried out in smaller groups to ensure active participation.

FAQ

What does a school need to provide to organise a training session?

The only requirement from the school is to provide a suitable room where we can conduct the theoretical and/or practical training. There is no need to supply any equipment — FAKRO arrives with complete tools, training materials and all necessary components. All that’s needed is a willingness to cooperate and student engagement.

How long does the training session last?

The duration of the training is arranged individually, depending on the needs and possibilities of the school. Typically, the theoretical part lasts about 45 minutes, while the practical part takes 1.5 hours (two 45-minute blocks). It is also possible to extend the programme or adapt it to the school’s class schedule.

Is the training conducted using the school’s equipment?

No - FAKRO provides everything needed for the training: tools, products, mounting frames and training materials. The school does not incur any costs and does not need to use its own technical resources. All logistics and preparation are handled by us.

How many students can participate in the training?

Group size is determined individually depending on the type of session. Theoretical training can be conducted for larger groups, while practical sessions are recommended for groups of around a dozen students. This ensures that every participant can actively engage in the exercises and work directly with the products.

Is it possible to organise a training session at the FAKRO headquarters?

Yes - we are happy to host schools at our headquarters! Attending a training session at FAKRO is a great opportunity to see the company from the inside, learn about the production process and speak with our experts. Simply schedule the visit with us in advance, and we will take care of the rest.
