Windows for flat roofs with an elegant steppe - black as standard.

Bringing natural light into attic rooms or flat-roofed buildings can be quite a challenge. Flat roof windows allow you to make full use of the roof space to brighten up the interior and give it a completely new character. The large glazed area combined with a limited number of profiles allows daylight to penetrate the rooms evenly, emphasising their spaciousness and open form. Compared to traditional vertical solutions, these windows offer up to several percent more light, which is particularly important in kitchens, bathrooms and corridors, where access to light is usually limited. The flat glass with a black steppe gives the entire system a subtle character, emphasising the roof line and blending in perfectly with the simple geometry of contemporary architecture. In addition, the possibility of personalising the frame as part of the ColourLine programme – which includes over 200 RAL Classic colours – allows for a perfect match with the aesthetics of the building, making windows not only a source of light, but also a coherent visual element of the entire project.
One of the key features is very good thermal insulation, which results from the use of modern DU6 or DU8 glazing units. Depending on the model, the design is based on a two-chamber or three-chamber glazing unit, achieving heat transfer coefficients from 0.64 to 0.70 W/m²K for the entire window. These values place flat roof windows in the energy-efficient solutions segment. The use of toughened and laminated glass in combination with noble gas in the glazing cavity effectively reduces energy losses in winter and protects rooms from excessive heat gain in summer. This is complemented by multi-chamber PVC profiles filled with insulation, which improve the thermal performance of the frame and minimise the risk of thermal bridges. As a result, the interior maintains a stable microclimate throughout the year, which is important not only for the comfort of users, but also for the operating costs of the building.
The range includes both non-opening models, which serve as an additional source of light, and variants with a manually or electrically operated tilt function. Tilt solutions enable effective ventilation of rooms, which is particularly important in bathrooms, kitchens and technical rooms. Manually controlled models are operated using a simple rod, while electrically operated versions offer convenient control via a remote control or wall switch. The Z-Wave technology also allows for integration with smart home systems, which makes it possible to control windows as part of broader automation scenarios – for example, closing windows while lowering blinds or turning on air conditioning. Solar-powered options eliminate the need for electrical wiring, as the energy required for the drive comes from a solar panel and a built-in battery. In each case, the design ensures convenient operation and safety of use, and an additional rain sensor ensures that the sash closes automatically during rainfall.
In addition to user comfort, an important feature of flat roof windows is their durability and resistance to external factors. Glazing units feature toughened glass on the outside, which comes with a lifetime hail-resistant warranty. The P2A laminated glass is used on the inside, which increases user safety by protecting against the risk of injury in the event of breakage and at the same time making it difficult to break in from the outside. PVC profile frames with a multi-chamber structure are highly resistant to moisture and changing weather conditions, which means that they do not require regular maintenance and their durability is measured in years. Thanks to these solutions, windows are suitable for both residential and public buildings, where safety, stability and long service life are of key importance.
The option to install on roofs with pitches ranging from 2° to 15° makes flat roof windows a versatile solution that can be used in a wide range of construction projects. For green, gravel or ventilated roofs, additional XRD and XRD/W bases are provided, which raise the window above the finishing layers and ensure proper water drainage. If the roof pitch is less than 2° or it is advisable to increase the installation angle, an XRD-A angled mounting base should be used. The design and aesthetics of windows allow them to be used in a variety of settings, from residential buildings to office and commercial premises. The simple form and the possibility of choosing the frame colour from a wide RAL palette make it easy to harmoniously match the window to the building structure. At the same time, all models can be equipped with internal accessories, such as roller blinds or pleated blinds, as well as external awning blinds, which reduce the heating of rooms on hot days.
