The VMZ Electro 230 awning blind cassette is an elegant and functional element that fits perfectly into modern architecture. Made of durable aluminium, it effectively protects the fabric and mechanism of the awning blind from adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow or UV radiation. This ensures that the awning blind retains its appearance and reliability for many years. Users can choose from three cassette shapes – oval, rectangular or round – and four standard colours: RAL 7022, 8003, 9005 and 9010, making it easy to match the building's façade.
Guide rails
The VMZ Electro 230 awning blind guide rails ensure excellent fabric stabilisation, maintaining constant tension and guaranteeing smooth operation of the entire system. Thanks to ZIP technology, the fabric remains perfectly taut and does not slip out from the sides, which minimises the risk of creasing and increases resistance to stronger gusts of wind. Made of solid aluminium, the guide rails are durable and resistant to changing weather conditions. They are available in four standard colours: RAL 7022, 8003, 9005 and 9010, and on request – also in any shade from the RAL palette.

Fabric placed outside the window
In all FAKRO vertical roll-up awning models, the fabric is mounted on the outside of the glazing, which allows it to block sunlight before it reaches the glazing, eliminating the hot greenhouse effect. As a result, roll-up awnings effectively reduce interior heating by up to 10°C, ensuring thermal comfort without the need for air conditioning.
UV radiation reduction and interior protection
FAKRO vertical roll-up awnings block up to 90% of UV radiation, protecting furniture, floors and decorative elements from fading and degradation. In addition, the fabric is available in various transparency degrees, allowing for comfortable interior lighting without annoying glare.
