FAKRO implements the following projects:

Increasing the competitiveness of FAKRO PP sp. z o.o. through the expansion of its research and development infrastructure

co-financed by the European Union under Measure 2.1 “Support for investment in R&D infrastructure of enterprises” of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014–2020

Project objective:

Expansion of the research and development infrastructure. As part of the project, fixed assets and intangible assets will be purchased or developed to complement the existing R&D infrastructure of FAKRO PP Sp. z o.o.

The expansion of the R&D infrastructure is necessary due to ongoing research activities aimed at developing new, innovative products that meet the high demands of the global market.

As a result of the project, the newly developed or acquired R&D infrastructure will enable research to be conducted in the following areas:

  • roof windows, skylights and roof access windows;
  • flashings for windows, skylights, roof access windows and solar collectors;
  • roller shutters, blinds and awnings;
  • loft ladders;
  • automation systems for windows, roller shutters, blinds and awnings.

Project value: PLN 7,908,900

European Funds contribution: PLN 1,800,400

Development of innovative production and assembly technologies (automated mass customization) for a new family of modular electrically operated loft ladders

co-financed by the European Union under Measure 1.2 “Sectoral R&D Programmes” of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014–2020.

Project objective:

The project involves R&D activities aimed at developing an automated production and assembly line for a new family of modular electrically operated loft ladders. The designed production line will automatically manufacture and assemble loft ladders with non-standard specifications, including custom dimensions and product characteristics, enabling mass customization.

Project value: PLN 12,000,000.00

European Funds contribution: PLN 5,753,732.15

The project is co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development under the Smart Growth Operational Programme.
