You don’t have to give up natural light even in rooms where installing traditional windows is not possible. The SRD‑S/L light tunnel with a rigid light transmitting tube allows daylight to be efficiently delivered to corridors, bathrooms, walk‑in wardrobes or utility rooms located deep inside the building. It maximises the use of natural light, improves everyday comfort and reduces electricity consumption. Installing the light tunnel does not require interference with the building’s structure, while its robust construction and resistance to weather conditions ensure durability and reliable performance for many years.

The SRD‑S/L light tunnel is equipped with a dome and a rigid light transmitting tube coated with a silver reflective layer that provides up to 98% light reflectance. This allows daylight to be effectively transmitted into the interior over distances of up to 12 meters. The light tunnel illuminates the space directly beneath the external installation point, such as an attic or loft.
The light transmitting tube is tightly sealed with light‑blocking tapes, preventing dust from entering the system. The SRD‑S/L light tunnel can be installed on roofs with pitches between 15° and 60°, covered with flat roofing materials (2×5 mm).

The SRD‑S/L light tunnel combines modern aesthetics with functional performance. Its discreet and elegant ceiling element fits seamlessly into any interior style. The light tunnel maximises the use of natural daylight, improving the comfort of indoor spaces and reducing electricity consumption. Its carefully designed structure ensures effective illumination of any room where natural light is needed. The refined design not only enhances the visual appeal of the interior but also significantly increases its functionality by bringing natural light into areas that were previously dim.
Dome
This is the external component of the light tunnel, made of durable material resistant to UV radiation and adverse weather conditions. Its rounded, aerodynamic shape promotes effective drainage of rainwater and reduces the accumulation of dirt, contributing to long‑lasting performance and minimal maintenance requirements. The transparent surface allows sunlight to flow freely into the light transmitting tube, which carries it into the interior of the building.

External cladding
The durable external cladding of the light tunnel effectively protects its structure from water, wind and changing weather conditions. Made of corrosion‑resistant sheet metal, it features an integrated flashing that ensures a watertight connection with the roof surface without the need for additional mounting elements. The grey‑brown RAL 7022 finish highlights the modern appearance of the light tunnel, matching contemporary roofing materials.

Light transmitting tube
Inside the light tunnel is an aluminium tube coated with a special silver‑based reflective layer. This coating enables efficient reflection and transmission of up to 98% of sunlight into the interior. The mirror‑like surface ensures that even diffused daylight is used effectively. The tube performs exceptionally well over longer light‑transmission distances, and its length can be adjusted using SRM extension modules, depending on the spatial layout of the attic.

Light diffuser
The final component of the system on the interior side is the opal diffuser, seamlessly integrated into the ceiling. Its purpose is to distribute daylight evenly, regardless of the angle at which it enters, filling the room with natural, gentle illumination.
The diffuser provides daylight throughout the day, and after dusk it can function as a lamp — simply install the optional SLO light kit.

Our products stand out for what truly matters. Discover the features that make them reliable and exceptional in everyday use.
Natural light where there are no windows

Light tunnels bring natural daylight into rooms without traditional windows, such as corridors, bathrooms, and dressing rooms. They make interiors brighter and more pleasant for everyday use.
Effective illumination

Applying specially designed light transmitting tubes allowed light tunnels to transmit daylight even several metres into the room. With this solution, high quality lighting can be maintained even in more complex roof structures.
Universal installation

Light tunnels are suitable for installation on various types of roofing, both flat and pitched. Their robust construction and carefully crafted details ensure reliable operation and aesthetic appeal for years to come.
