A large majority of roof windows installed in Poland match the dimensions of the recommended FAKRO replacement models. All standard internal and external accessories from the FAKRO GREENVIEW range are compatible with these windows. For other, non-standard sizes, you can choose RENO-version windows, designed specifically to match the size of older windows so that the window lining remains untouched. In such cases, all accessories will need to be ordered individually.

When replacing roof windows as part of attic thermal modernisation, you can take advantage of available financial support programmes. These initiatives not only improve the comfort and energy efficiency of your home, but can also be partially financed through state-supported eco-friendly schemes. The two most popular forms of support are the “Clean Air” Programme and the “Thermal Modernisation Tax Relief”.
The tax regulations do not exclude the possibility of using both of the above forms of support for a single thermal modernisation project. When receiving combined benefits — a grant from the Clean Air Programme and the Thermal Modernisation Tax Relief — the following rules apply:
- Expenses covered by a grant or public funds cannot be deducted. Only the part of the investment not financed from external sources may be claimed as a tax deduction.

Can I receive financial support for replacing roof windows?
Yes — your investment can be supported through:

You can combine both forms of support — however, the tax relief covers only the expenses not financed by the grant. If you first deduct the costs under the tax relief and later receive a grant, you must settle the refunded amount in your tax declaration.
