Flashing ESV-T Thermo _X00 for flat roofing

The ESV-T Thermo _X00 flashing is an ideal solution for FAKRO roof windows installed in flat roofing materials – roofing felt, bitumen shingles, flat sheet metal or slate. With additional insulation, it improves the heat transfer coefficient by up to 15%, depending on the window type, and reduces thermal bridges and heat loss. The system design and factory seals ensure quick installation and durable protection against water, snow and wind. Three colours to choose from – anthracite (RAL 7016), grey-brown (RAL 7022) and black (RAL 9005) – guarantee a consistent match with FAKRO windows and roof surfaces. This ensures tightness, warmth and aesthetics for years to come.

Assistance with installation

The installation process of the ESV-T Thermo _X00 flashing is simple and quick – the system components fit precisely to the window and roofing, which facilitates the roofer's work and minimises the risk of leaks. It is designed for single window installation as standard, but is also available in modular versions for combinations. The installation range covers roofs with pitches from 15° to 90° (N, V) and 20° to 90° (J), making it suitable for most roof structures.

Uniform roof aesthetics

FAKRO flashings in standard anthracite (RAL 7016) perfectly match the current colour trends in roofing. Black (RAL 9005) and grey-brown (RAL 7022) variants are also available upon request. The availability of three colour options allows the flashing to be matched to the window and roofing, creating a coherent and aesthetically pleasing look.

Flat roofing

The flashing designed for flat roofing ensures a tight and aesthetic connection between the roof window and the roof surface made of roofing felt, bitumen shingles, flat sheet metal or slate up to 10 mm thick (2 layers of max. 5 mm each). With its precise design, it guarantees reliable protection against water and wind, while maintaining the visual integrity of the roof, emphasising its uniform form.

A design refined in every detail

The ESV-T Thermo _X00 flashing consists of four main elements: bottom, top and two side elements, supplemented with the the frame side covering profiles. The bottom element is glued from below with a plastic compound, which allows for permanent adhesion to the roof covering and ensures high tightness of the connection.

Thermo flashing

The Thermo version of the flashing features an additional layer of thermal insulation made of flexible insulating material, which tightly adheres to the frame and creates a closed thermal insulation frame. This solution improves the heat transfer coefficient by up to 15%, depending on the window type, and reduces the formation of thermal bridges and heat loss.

Three installation depths

FAKRO flashings allow for window installation at depths N, V and J. They are designed for installation at height V (0) as standard. On special request, we can manufacture flashings adapted for installation at height N (+3 cm) or J (–3 cm), ensuring a perfect fit to the roof surface.
