The FSU P2 smoke ventilation window has been designed for trouble-free operation even in the most demanding situations. Thanks to the use of two electric actuators, the sash opens to an angle of 71° in just 51 seconds – even under full load. Hinges located at the bottom of the frame improve the aerodynamic properties of the vent, and the raised sash protects the smoke extraction opening from wind gusts. The design meets the requirements of EN 12101-2:2003, confirming its compliance with regulations for natural smoke extraction systems.

Universal installation sloping and flat roofs
With its carefully considered design, the FSU P2 smoke ventilation window can be installed on various roof types – both sloping (with pitches from 20° to 60°) and flat – using specialised installation solutions. The offer includes dedicated flashings and the EFS system, ensuring a durable and tight connection with the roof covering. It is also possible to extend the functionality of the ventilation window with additional elements, such as weather sensors, switches or remote control systems, which allowing for precise adaptation to the requirements of a given facility and increasing the comfort of everyday use.
Glazing unit
The FSU P2 model features P2A class anti-burglary glass, which increases the level of security. The inner layer of laminated glass minimises the risk of breakage, and if damaged, keeps the fragments intact, protecting against cuts and limiting access to the interior. The 4 mm thick outer toughened glass is highly resistant to mechanical damage and is covered by a lifetime hail resistance warranty. The glazing cavity is filled with argon, a noble gas that improves its thermal insulation properties.

External cladding
The outer part of the smoke ventilation window has been secured with durable weather-resistant cladding. The materials used are highly resistant to moisture, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations. The cladding blends in perfectly with the roofing, ensuring an aesthetic finish to the entire structure. In combination with a suitable flashing, it guarantees a tight and long-lasting use, even in buildings exposed to intensive use.

Internal cladding
The smoke ventilation window has been made inside of high-quality pinewood, vacuum-impregnated to protect it against the growth of fungi and mould. Additionally, it is coated with three layers of white polyurethane varnish, which protects against moisture and slows down the aging process. The light, natural finish adds a pleasant visual accent to the room without disturbing the overall harmony of the design. The wood not only serves a structural function, but also enhances the aesthetics of the entire product.

Actuators
The FSU P2 model is equipped with two 24V electric actuators, responsible for automatically lifting the sash after receiving a signal from the control system. The mechanism has been precisely tuned to ensure fast and even opening even under full load. The sash lifts smoothly and stably, without causing additional stress on the roof structure. The entire system has been designed for reliable operation in emergency situations.
