The EUV‑B _X00 flashing is a specialised solution designed for L-shaped combinations, enabling the connection of a roof window with a vertical window installed in the knee wall. It creates a cohesive, watertight structure that ensures an aesthetically pleasing and durable connection between both windows. Thanks to precisely matched components, it provides safe water drainage and effective protection against wind. The EUV‑B _X00 flashing is suitable for installation on roofs with pitches between 15° and 55°, ensuring a harmonious transition between the roof section and the vertical section, creating the effect of a uniform glazed surface that increases the amount of natural light entering the room. The flashing is available in three colours — anthracite (RAL 7016), grey‑brown (RAL 7022) and black (RAL 9005) — making it easy to match with the roof and FAKRO windows.

Standardly intended for single combinations, it is also available in modular versions for horizontal combinations. The installation range covers roof pitches from 15° to 55°, making it suitable for a wide variety of modern roof designs.

Uniform roof aesthetics

FAKRO flashings in standard anthracite (RAL 7016) perfectly match the current colour trends in roofing. Black (RAL 9005) and grey-brown (RAL 7022) variants are also available upon request. The availability of three colour options allows the flashing to be matched to the window and roofing, creating a coherent and aesthetically pleasing look.

The universal flashing is suitable for installing roof windows on roof surfaces made of a wide range of materials — from flat coverings to profiled and even high‑profile roofing. It fits perfectly with roofing felt, bitumen shingles, flat metal sheets, roof tiles and profiled metal sheets with a height of up to 90 mm. Its robust construction ensures tightness and resistance to weather conditions, while maintaining a visually cohesive appearance of the roof and enhancing its uniform form.

The EUV‑B _X00 flashing is a system solution dedicated to L-shaped combinations, connecting a roof window with a vertical window and creating a tight, aesthetically finished structure. The flashing consists of the roof window flashing elements, a connecting gutter between the roof and L-shaped combination windows, an eaves flashing (120 cm long) and frame side covering profiles. Its precise fit ensures a durable transition between the roof plane and the vertical section, protecting the assembly against water and wind. The set also includes a drainage gutter that directs moisture from the vapour‑permeable membrane above the window away from the glazing area.

Three installation depths

FAKRO flashings allow for window installation at depths N, V and J. They are designed for installation at height V (0) as standard. On special request, we can manufacture flashings adapted for installation at height N (+3 cm) or J (–3 cm), ensuring a perfect fit to the roof surface.

FAKRO flashings are manufactured from coated aluminium sheet with high resistance to weather conditions. This ensures long-term durability, effective protection against rain, snow and wind, and a perfect fit for roof windows.
