Simple installation and flexible fit
FAKRO roof windows are easy to install – they fit the same flashings as roof windows. This allows them to be aesthetically combined with other windows. The installation range of 15 to 55° makes it easy to adjust to different roof pitches. Before installation, you can select the sash opening direction – right or left. The window is supplied as right-hand as standard.
Glazing unit U41
The 44 mm thick triple-glazed unit features two low-emission coatings, glazing cavity filled with argon and a warm TGI spacer. This gives it a very good heat transfer coefficient rated at Uw = 1.0 W/m²K when used with the Thermo flashing. It provides acoustic comfort of 35 dB, which effectively reduces noise and improves conditions for rest in the attic.
External cladding
The external cladding was designed in cooperation with the Institute of Industrial Design. Its modern, minimalist form emphasises the aesthetics of the window and harmonises with the roof line. The anthracite colour (RAL 7016) fits perfectly with current architectural trends. The colour consistency of the cladding, accessories and flashings creates a harmonious, elegant set that is resistant to weather conditions.
Internal finish
The internal profiles are made of high-quality PVC in an elegant white shade RAL 9010, which suits most interior designs. Thanks to V-PERFECT technology, the corners are aesthetically finished and the joints are almost invisible. The smooth surface does not absorb moisture and is easy to keep clean. The profiles are classified as Class A according to EN 12608, which confirms their high durability, structural strength and resistance to deformation.
Handle
An ergonomic handle located in the middle of the sash allows for quick and easy opening of the window. After releasing the lock, the sash opens easily and a gas spring keeps it in a stable position. The handle also has a release function for gentle ventilation.
Gas spring
It facilitates opening the sash and holds it in a stable position up to 90°. It prevents accidental closing, increasing safety when accessing the roof.
Universal design
The sash can be installed with left or right opening. This convenient solution simplifies installation and allows the window to be adapted to the specific room layout.

The modern flashing design, developed in cooperation with the Institute of Industrial Design, emphasizes the minimalist aesthetics of the window. Three colour options — anthracite (RAL 7016), black (RAL 9005) and grey‑brown (RAL 7022) — allow for a cohesive match with the roof and accessories.
Durable protection
The P50 glazing units ensures durability and safety. The external toughened glass is covered by a lifetime hail resistance warranty. The internal P2A class laminated glass protects against injury in the event of breakage and makes it difficult to force the window during break-in attempts.
