The integrated solar panel is the heart of the AMZ Komfort Z-Wave Solar awning blind automation system, powering the electric drive completely independently of the home's electrical system. Thanks to solar energy, the awning blind can operate even when there is no mains power supply, increasing its functionality. The panel is discreetly integrated into the awning blind’s housing.
Solar awnings should be installed in locations where the solar panel will be exposed to direct sunlight. It is recommended to install solar awnings on the south, west, and east sides. Installing them on the north side may result in battery discharge and the awning becoming inoperable.
