In summer, attic temperatures can rise dramatically, which can cause discomfort and necessitate frequent use of air conditioning. The AMZ Komfort external awning blind is an effective solution that reduces interior heating up to 8 times better than internal blinds. Made of durable PVC-coated fibreglass mesh, the awning blind absorbs solar radiation before it reaches the glazing, dispersing heat outside. The fabric has a carefully selected relative transparency – 10% or 1% depending on the chosen fabric group – allowing natural light to enter without causing glare. In addition, the structure comes with an aluminium cassette that protects the roller and fabric from rain and UV radiation, extending the life of the entire system.

High-quality materials and a clever design ensure that the awning blind will serve you well for many years, even in difficult weather conditions. An aluminium strip covers the spring-loaded shaft, protecting it from damage and dirt. Additional stabilising brackets on the bottom bar prevent the fabric from flapping in the wind, providing improved wind resistance and an aesthetic appearance. The awning blind fabric is UV-resistant, which means it retains its properties for a long time. The availability of several cladding colour options – standard in RAL 7016 (anthracite) and RAL 7022 (grey-brown), and on request in RAL 9005 (black) – allows the awning blind to be matched to the building’s appearance.

Simple operation and full control

The manual operation mechanism is extremely intuitive and requires no complicated actions. The awning blind is rolled down by hand or using the included 80 cm long rod, which allows for convenient control even in the case of higher windows. Thanks to specially shaped slots, the fabric tension can be precisely adjusted, ensuring a perfect fit and an aesthetic appearance. The semi-transparent mesh structure allows for simultaneous use of natural light and a view of the outside, while maintaining privacy during the day. Importantly, the awning blind is compatible with GREENVIEW windows and older generations, making it a universal solution for various attic types.

The AMZ Komfort awning blind fabric is available in two transparency options: 10% (group I) for more natural light and visibility outside, and 1% (group II) for more effective shading and greater privacy.
