The external cladding of the light tunnel provides durable protection of the structure against water, wind and changing weather conditions. Made of corrosion‑resistant sheet metal, it features an integrated flashing that ensures a watertight connection with the roof surface without the need for additional mounting elements. The black RAL 9005 finish blends harmoniously with modern roofing materials, giving the light tunnel an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

The inner aluminium tube is covered with a special light-reflecting coating — up to 98% of the rays reach the interior. The mirror-like design ensures that even single rays of sunlight are directed precisely into the interior. This solution works particularly well in long or curved sections of the tube — the light retains its intensity and reaches where it is most needed. The length of the light transmitting tube is 210 cm for sizes 250 and 350 and 180 cm for size 550 due to the lack of SRK elbows in the set. It is possible to extend the light pipe up to 12 m using additional SRM modules, allowing the length to be adjusted to a specific project.

The entire system is completed by a ceiling-mounted diffuser, which determines the overall appearance of the light in the interior. Soft, even and pleasant to the eye — this is how the final effect can be described. The diffuser eliminates sharp shadows and creates a light similar to that coming through a traditional window. Easy installation and the possibility of integration with the SLO light kit make this element also suitable for use in the evenings, offering aesthetic and functional room illumination.
