Maximum performance and protection
Once installed, the SRL light tunnel operates automatically – it does not require a power supply, switch or maintenance. The tube is equipped with sealing tapes that effectively eliminate light leaks, increasing light efficiency and protecting the interior from dirt. The design is highly airtight, durable and does not require regular maintenance. Natural light enters through the glass, reaches the light transmitting tube and is then evenly distributed throughout the room. Additionally, it is possible to install the SLO light kit, allowing the light tunnel to function as artificial lighting after dark.

Glass
The upper section of the SRL light tunnel features 4 mm thick toughened glass mounted in an aluminium frame. Its purpose is to protect against wind, precipitation and dirt, as well as to effectively transmit light into the interior. Resistant to mechanical damage, it works well all year round, regardless of the weather. Even in strong sunlight, it does not cause glare, but provides soft, pleasant lighting.
External cladding
The external cladding of the light tunnel provides durable protection of the structure against water, wind and changing weather conditions. Made of corrosion‑resistant sheet metal, it features an integrated flashing that ensures a watertight connection with the roof surface without the need for additional mounting elements. The cladding, available in anthracite RAL 7016, grey‑brown RAL 7022 or black RAL 9005, highlights the modern appearance of the light tunnel, perfectly matching contemporary roofing materials.
Light transmitting tube
The SRL light tunnel comes with a rigid light transmitting made of aluminium segments with a high light reflection coefficient. This design ensures very effective transmission of sunlight from the roof into the building, even over longer distances. The length of the light transmitting tube is 210 cm for sizes 250 and 350, and 180 cm for size 550 due to the lack of SRK elbows in the set. It is possible to extend the light transmitting tube with additional SRM modules - up to 12 metres, allowing the length to be adjusted to a specific project.
Diffuser
The final element of the SRL light tunnel is a ceiling diffuser with a durable ABS plastic cover in a matt white colour. It is responsible for the pleasant lighting effect in the room – without harsh shadows and spot lighting. Installation is simple – it is enough to slide the diffuser into the frame for an aesthetic ceiling finish. In the extended version, it can be combined with an additional SLO light kit, allowing for use the lighting even after dark.
