The durable external cladding of the light tunnel effectively protects its structure from water, wind and changing weather conditions. Made of corrosion‑resistant sheet metal, it features an integrated flashing that ensures a watertight connection with the roof surface without the need for additional mounting elements. The cladding, available in anthracite RAL 7016, grey‑brown RAL 7022 or black RAL 9005, highlights the modern appearance of the light tunnel, perfectly matching contemporary roofing materials.

The interior of the light tunnel is filled with an aluminium tube with a surface covered with a special silver-based reflective coating. Thanks to its high light reflection coefficient – reaching up to 98% – it is possible to effectively direct sunlight into the room. The mirrored structure of the tube guarantees effective transmission of even diffused light, which is particularly useful for longer or curved systems. The light transmitting tube is 210 cm long for sizes 250 and 350, and 180 cm long for size 550 due to the lack of SRK elbows. The system can be easily adapted to a specific arrangement, extending it up to 12 m using SRM extension modules.

On the interior side, the light tunnel is finished with a matt diffuser that blends in aesthetically with the ceiling surface. This element is responsible for the gentle and even distribution of daylight throughout the room, regardless of the time of day or the intensity of sunlight. The diffuser guarantees constant access to natural lighting, and after dark it can function as a lamp thanks to the possibility of installing the SLO light kit, which significantly increases the comfort and usability of the solution.
