The durable external cladding of the light tunnel effectively protects its structure from water, wind and changing weather conditions. Made of corrosion‑resistant sheet metal, it features an integrated flashing that ensures a watertight connection with the roof surface without the need for additional mounting elements. The cladding, available in anthracite RAL 7016, grey‑brown RAL 7022 or black RAL 9005, highlights the modern appearance of the light tunnel, perfectly matching contemporary roofing materials.

The interior of the light tunnel is made of an aluminum tube, the surface of which is coated with a reflective silver-based layer. This allows it to reflect light intensely and effectively redirect up to 98% of sunlight into the room. The mirror coating also ensures that weaker daylight is effectively transferred and precisely distributed where it is most needed. This solution is ideal for longer installation sections. The length of the light transmitting tube is 210 cm for sizes 250 and 350 and 180 cm for size 550 due to the lack of SRK elbows in the set. Additionally, the tube can be extended using SRM modules, up to 12 m, which allows the system to be flexibly adapted to a specific interior arrangement.

The final element of the light tunnel on the interior side is a matt cover, which forms a coherent unit with the ceiling and is responsible for the gentle, even distribution of daylight. Thanks to its use, the interior is filled with natural, pleasant lighting regardless of the angle of the sun's rays. The diffuser ensures a constant supply of light throughout the day and can also be equipped with the LSO light kit, which takes over the function of standard lighting in the evening.
