Illuminate hard-to-reach spaces under the roof – such as attics, lofts or technical rooms – without having to install windows. The SFZ-L model is designed for pitched roofs with profiled roofing up to 45 mm. It is ideal for areas located deeper inside the building, without access to daylight, but also where there is a need to illuminate the space directly under the roof. The design of the light tunnel allows sunlight to be effectively directed into the interior, improving visibility and comfort in rooms that were previously immersed in semi-darkness.

The SFZ-L set combines clever design and aesthetics, adapting to any roof type with pitches from 15° to 60° and a profiled roof covering. Installation does not require complicated work, and the flexible light transmitting tube easily bypasses obstacles such as beams or other systems. The integrated mounting flashings ensures a solid, durable fit of the light tunnel in the roof, eliminating the risk of leaks. The overall result is a stable, functional system that reliably distributes daylight in the designated area.

The light entering through the light tunnel glass is directed downwards via a flexible light transmitting tube, directly to the diffuser, which gives the effect of even, natural lighting. Attics and lofts gain a friendly atmosphere without the need for electric light sources during the day. The lack of sharp contrasts and even distribution of light translate into a more aesthetically pleasing space and greater functionality. Additionally, it is possible to install the SLO light kit, which allows the light tunnel to be used as an artificial light source after dark
Glass
The upper section of the light tunnel features 4 mm thick toughened glass set in a solid aluminium profile. Its primary purpose is to maximise daylighting while protecting against rain, wind and other adverse weather conditions. Its high resistance to mechanical damage and UV radiation makes it a durable and safe structural element. The flat shape of the light tunnel fits perfectly with both standard and modern building styles.

Light transmitting tube
Inside the structure there is a flexible light transmitting tube with a length of 210 cm, which effectively redirects sunlight into the room. Its flexible form allows it to bypass structural elements of the roof without the need to make changes to its structure. The tube can be extended using additional SLM modules up to 400 cm for a diameter of 350 mm and up to 600 cm for a diameter of 550 mm.

Diffuser
The final element of the set is a ceiling-mounted diffuser that distributes light evenly, subtly illuminating the room. The matte surface gives the lighting a soft, diffused character, eliminating sharp shadows and reflections. The aesthetic finish allows the diffuser to blend harmoniously into any interior, providing a consistent element in both functional and auxiliary spaces. The clever design also allows for the use of an additional SLO light kit, providing comfortable lighting after dark.

Our products stand out for what truly matters. Discover the features that make them reliable and exceptional in everyday use.
Natural light where there are no windows

Light tunnels bring natural daylight into rooms without traditional windows, such as corridors, bathrooms, and dressing rooms. They make interiors brighter and more pleasant for everyday use.
Effective illumination

Applying specially designed light transmitting tubes allowed light tunnels to transmit daylight even several metres into the room. With this solution, high quality lighting can be maintained even in more complex roof structures.
Universal installation

Light tunnels are suitable for installation on various types of roofing, both flat and pitched. Their robust construction and carefully crafted details ensure reliable operation and aesthetic appeal for years to come.
