The light tunnel is an excellent solution where it is not possible to install a window – for example, in corridors, dressing rooms or bathrooms located deep inside the building. The SFF model, equipped with a dome and a flexible light transmitting tube, is designed for installation in flat roofs. It allows natural light to enter the interior, significantly improving user comfort.

Natural light all day long
Daylight captured by the light tunnel on the roof enters the room through a light transmitting tube and is evenly distributed by a ceiling diffuser, which guarantees effective lighting. This provides natural lighting for the room – without shadows or contrasts. The light tunnel is available in two practical diameters – 350 mm and 550 mm – allowing for customization to the size and specific needs of the room being lit. Installing the light tunnel effectively reduces the need for artificial lighting during the day.

The SFF light tunnel for flat roofs is equipped with a flexible light transmitting tube with a length of 2.1 m, allowing to bypass installation or structural obstacles. It can be easily adapted to the room arrangement without the need to shorten or connect modules. The tube is equipped with sealing tapes that effectively eliminate light leaks, increasing light efficiency and protecting the interior from dirt. The structure is highly airtight, durable and does not require regular maintenance. The light tunnel is suitable for roofs with pitches from 0° to 15°, making it a universal solution for flat-roofed houses.

Dome
The outer part of the light tunnel is a transparent dome made of a material resistant to UV radiation, precipitation and temperature fluctuations. Its rounded shape facilitates water runoff and prevents dirt from settling. This translates into durability and no need for regular maintenance. The dome protects the interior of the tube and ensures a constant supply of light.
Light transmitting tube
The flexible light transmitting tube is finished on the inside with a light-reflecting layer, allowing for efficient light transmission along its entire length, all the way to the diffuser. Despite its flexible design, the quality and intensity of daylight inside the room remain high. The 2.1 m long tube allows for easy installation even in more difficult conditions. If necessary, it can be extended using additional SLM modules – up to a maximum recommended length of 400 cm for a tube with a diameter of 350 mm and up to 600 cm for a diameter of 550 mm.
Light diffuser
Inside the room, the light tunnel is finished with a frostred screen built into the ceiling. It is this element that is responsible for the even distribution of light and its soft character. The diffuser works regardless of the angle of the rays, so the interior is illuminated throughout the day. Optionally, an additional SLO light kit can be installed, which functions as a traditional lamp in the evening.
