The special design of the light transmitting tube, bonded to the ceiling section with sealing tapes, prevents the ingress of dirt and unwanted light reflections. This protection increases the efficiency of the entire system, allowing for maximum use of daylight. The whole system is highly airtight, durable and does not require frequent maintenance. The reflective inner surface of the tube redirects sunlight, ensuring a stable and comfortable level of lighting throughout the day – without glare or sharp contrasts.

Dome
The outer part of the set is a transparent dome made of durable, weather-resistant material. Its shape has been optimised to capture sunlight at different times of the day. It is highly resistant to strong winds and UV radiation, ensuring its longevity and reliability. The rounded shape allows water to run off the surface quickly, while dirt does not tend to accumulate.
Light transmitting tube
The interior of the light tunnel consists of a flexible light transmitting tube with a length of 210 cm, which is characterised by a high light reflection coefficient. The flexible design facilitates light routing even in difficult installation conditions, allowing structural obstacles to be bypassed. The tube can be extended with additional SLM modules – up to a maximum recommended length of 400 cm for a diameter of 350 mm and up to 600 cm for a diameter of 550 mm.
Diffuser
Installed inside the room, the diffuser evenly distributes light throughout the space, eliminating spot reflections and shadows. Its matt, prismatic surface gives the light a soft, neutral character that blends well with various interior styles. The diffuser's design also allows for the installation of an additional light source – an optional SLO light kit, illuminating the room after dark.
External cladding
The external cladding of the light tunnel provides durable protection of the structure against water, wind and changing weather conditions. Made of corrosion‑resistant sheet metal, it features an integrated flashing that ensures a watertight connection with the roof surface without the need for additional mounting elements. The cladding, available in anthracite RAL 7016, grey‑brown RAL 7022 or black RAL 9005, blends harmoniously with modern roofing materials, giving the structure an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
