The DMF DU6 Secure flat roof window was designed for investors looking for a combination of increased security, energy efficiency and comfort of use. This model is manually opened using the included ZSD rod and is suitable for roofs with pitches from 2° to 15°. It is ideal for rooms where standard vertical solutions are impossible and where natural lighting and burglary protection are of key importance. The Secure version complies with European resistance class RC2 according to EN 1627.

This model features a specially designed DU6 glazing unit, in which the internal P4A class laminated glass effectively increases resistance to forced entry, ensuring a higher level of burglary protection. At the same time, the window retains high daylight transmission – the glazing is up to 16% larger than in comparable designs, resulting in brighter, more pleasant interiors. This is an option for people who want to feel safe in their home without having to compromise on aesthetics or comfort.

The DMF DU6 Secure stands out for its excellent thermal insulation properties – the heat transfer coefficient for the entire window is Uw = 0.70 W/m²K, and for the glazing unit alone Ug = 0.5 W/m²K. The set of three panes is filled with noble gas (argon), further improving thermal efficiency. The window is also equipped with three independent seals and an external toughened glass with a lifetime hail resistance warranty. The possibility of mounting on 15 cm high XRD or XRD/W installation bases allows for installation on green, gravel or ventilated roofs.
Glazing unit
The DU6 glazing unit is a three-layer structure consisting of a double-chamber insulated glass unit with a total thickness of 48 mm. The inner laminated glass with P4A resistance class ensures an increased level of security in accordance with the requirements of RC2 according to EN 1627, providing a significant anti-burglary barrier. The glazing cavity is filled with noble gas (argon), which, in combination with low-emission thermal coatings, enables a heat transfer coefficient of Ug = 0.5 W/m²K to be achieved, and for the entire window Uw = 0.70 W/m²K (in accordance with EN 14351-1). The DU6 glazing unit design further eliminates thermal bridges, reducing heat loss even in extremely low temperatures.

External glass
The external toughened glass is the primary protection element in the DU6 glazing unit and is designed in accordance with EN 12150. It is characterised by high mechanical strength and resistance to dynamic impact, confirmed by a lifetime hail resistance warranty. This glass has undergone a controlled thermal toughening process, increasing its strength to a level that allows it to be installed in areas exposed to intense environmental impact. It is 6 mm thick, and carefully selected TPS spacers maintain the high edge tightness of the glazing unit.

External cladding
The steppe type external cladding is a prefabricated glass and aluminium segment that forms an integral part of the upper window structure. It consists of toughened flat glass and an aluminium profile in RAL 9005, permanently joined into a frame. This segment not only serves an aesthetic function, giving the window a minimalist look, but also affects light efficiency thanks to the appropriate glazing geometry. The flat surface eliminates areas where water and dirt can accumulate, and the seals used ensure a durable connection with the roof covering. The design of the steppe segment maximises the lighting area, increasing light transmission by up to 16% compared to standard solutions.
