The DRC-C P2 access roof light comes with features that facilitate use and increase the functionality of the entire structure. A special hinge system allows the sash to open wide – up to 80° in smaller sizes and up to 60° in larger sizes – making access to the roof easier. Gas springs assist in operating the product, and the optional ZBR lock eliminates the risk of accidental closure, for example, during strong gusts of wind. The DRC-C P2 can also be equipped with a ZBL/D lock to prevent unauthorised opening.

Functional solution for flat roofs
Designed for flat roofs with pitches from 0° to 15°, DRC-C P2 access roof light offers versatile application possibilities in various building types. For roofs with unusual structures, such as gravel or green roofs, a special 15 cm high XRD/W installation base can be used. This facilitates raising the access roof light above the roof surface and ensures proper installation. This practical solution works well in single-family housing as well as in office, industrial and public buildings.
Dome
The access roof light dome is made of polycarbonate with high resistance to impact and external factors. Its transparent surface allows a large amount of light to pass through, while protecting the interior from UV radiation. Protective coatings on both sides increase its durability and aesthetics over a long period of use.
Glazing unit P2
The single-chamber P2 glazing unit features an internal P2A glass, providing a basic level of protection against forced entry. The external toughened glass is covered by a lifetime hail resistance warranty, increasing the level of safety and reliability even in difficult weather conditions.
Frame
The access roof light is based on a frame made of multi-chamber PVC profiles in white (RAL 9010), filled with insulating material. It is highly resistant to moisture and cleaning agents, making it suitable for rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or laundry rooms. The entire system is durable and maintenance-free, and its light colour scheme makes it easy to match any interior style.
Gas springs
The system assisting in opening and closing the sash is based on gas springs. Their task is to facilitate the operation of the access roof light. This allows for safe use without the risk of the sash falling spontaneously during windy weather or accidental movement of the structure.
