Another Conference of the Heads of FAKRO Foreign Distribution Companies came to an end

On October 23-27, FAKRO hosted executives from foreign companies. The event was attended by 52 participants from 24 countries. It was an excellent opportunity to meet, exchange knowledge and experience as well as discuss strategic plans for the future.

The meeting provided a unique opportunity to deepen cooperation, discuss common challenges and learn about industry best practices in different markets. The event was divided into a conference part, talks between the Management Board and Partners and the factory guided tour.

The guests arrived at the friendly Activa Hotel on Wednesday, October 23. On the following day, they visited FAKRO to take part in the Conference. The event began with a speech by the President of the Management Board, Mr Ryszard Florek entitled “FAKRO Strategy – summary of recent years” and the presentation made by Vice President of the Management Board, Paweł Dziekoński titled “Market development trends, FAKRO development directions.” This was followed by the presentation of the new GO GREEN marketing strategy by Janusz Komurkiewicz, Management Board Member for Marketing. The next speech was the presentation of the new generation of GREENVIEW roof windows, delivered by Sebastian Talarczyk, Management Board Member for Product Management and Development. The schedule included presentations of marketing campaigns, brought closer by Sławomir Gawlik, FAKRO Group Marketing Director and  Joanna Osipowicz, Advertising Team Manager. Another important point was the presentation given by Wojciech Klimek, Management Board Member for Production, who spoke about the challenges for FAKRO production in times of unpredictability and digital transformation. The whole of Friday’s speeches was rounded off with a motivational lecture by Marcin Renduda entitled “Technology and science in the service of sales.”

On Friday, the visitors had the opportunity to take part in the factory guided tour and meet colleagues from various department, including service, marketing and logistics. An important point on that day involved meetings with the Management Board.

The schedule of Saturday meetings was held at the Activa Hotel. It was a platform for international exchange of ideas and sharing experience and practices from individual markets.  Among other things, sustainable development was discussed, Dutch, Italian, Hungarian, Czech, Belgian and British good practices were presented, and sales programs such as eFAKRO, PIM and PAM were demonstrated.
